Italian classical organist from Florence Stefano Innocenti, from Florence, graduated in piano (with Pietro Scarpini), organ and harpsichord and followed the courses held by Heiller, Tagliavini, Gilbert and Marie-Claire Alain in Haarlem (Holland). Since 1985, owner of the eighteenth-century Serassi organ of the Reggia di Colorno, he has given concerts throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Brazil and Japan. He played for the inauguration of many restored historical organs, including the Bolognese ones of San Petronio and the Gabler of Weingarten, Baden-Württemberg. He has recorded various records, some of which are dedicated to the Italian seventeenth century (Ricordi, Erato), to Andrea Gabrieli (Victorie), to the organ and orchestra concerts of Paër and Salieri, in Haendel, to solo concerts for organ and harpsichord by Haydn and to all the harpsichord sonatas of Platti (La Bottega Discantica), to recent compositions by Riccardo Castagnetti (Tactus), to keyboard music in Naples (Brilliant) and, on the harpsichord, to Toccate di Bach (Stradivarius). He taught organ and organ composition in the Conservatories of Bologna and Parma, held interpretation courses at the Academies of Pistoia, Romainmotier (Switzerland) and Toulouse and was a jury member in international competitions of execution, composition and improvisation. He lives between Parma and Arcola (La Spezia).
