Hotwire is a heavy metal band from Diez, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, that was formed in 1988. The band split up in 1991. With Highway Killer there's a kind of continuation of the band, but only one original member is included in the line up. Not to be confused with Hotwire (4) from Bavaria.
