Юрий Усов

Yury Usov - Russian trumpeter, musicologist, pedagogue (1930 - 1999). Usov was the founder of the domestic field of applied musicology - the history of performance on wind instruments. His research in this area laid the foundation for subsequent researchers in Russia and the Union republics. He formed a scientific school, which today is being developed by his students and followers.
