Eric Chitty

Erik Chitty was a British actor. He was one of the regular players on BBC Television when it was first created in 1936 until it shut down for the outbreak of WWII. His post-war television credits include "Dad's Army", "Please Sir!", "Man About the House", "Doctor Who" and "The Goodies". Born: 8th July 1907 in Dover, Kent. Died: 22nd July 1977 in Brent, Middlesex at the age of 70.
