The name is meant to make fun of consumers who sleep on the street in order to get the latest fashion in electronic gadgetry. Based in Northern Ontario, Canada, MCPIBTYCP is a one man project. Taking sound sources such as nature, video game consoles, pedals, filters and children’s toys and combining them with traditional instruments like guitars, violins, keys and drums, MCPIBTYCP can best be described as ambient noise.
