Four piece group worked with the Kama Sutra Productions team in the mid-60's before their contract was transferred to Columbia Records when the label entered into a production agreement with Kama Sutra in 1965. Though they ended up on Columbia their creative teams including producer and arranger Artie Butler and writer Tony Michaels were the people who worked on many of the Shangri-Las, Dixie Cups, and other Red Bird artists with whom The Pussycats share a sound.
