Verna Evans

Canadian singer, dancer, teacher, and songwriter who often collaborated with her sister Dorothy Evans (2). Together they played at vaudeville theaters in Canada and the United States. In 1931, they founded the Evans Sisters School of Music and Dance Arts in Montreal. Four years later they starred in Montreal's first television production, and in the war years they performed at troop shows for the armed forces.
