'Pling

Australian photographer 'pling (Kevin Prideaux 1955-2018), based in Canberra, ACT. Originally from Victoria, Kevin moved to Canberra and initially worked as a public servant in Forestry (before nearly 40 years in data management) for the ACT government where he earnt the nickname 'Sapling' that was shortened to the name 'pling. There are over 500,000 photographs in the ’pling px collection, representing Canberra's music, theatre and dance scene from the 1970s - 2010 and especially from the music scene of the 1990s onwards. Hundreds of photographs were printed/gifted by 'pling to artists and performers.
