Об исполнителе:
Short-lived mid-1960’s garage/psych band from suburban Chicago, IL The band was known locally for having been the opening act for Paul Revere & The Raiders and other major national acts playing Chicago, and built a reputation in the process. Rembrandt Records co-founder Reggie Weiss signed them when he learned they weren't under contract to anyone - they became the second group on the Rembrandt label after the The Nite Owls (2). Led by guitarist Ricky Erickson, the band cut their one and only single "Open Up Your Mind" b/w "B.G.'s One Eye" at the Chess Records studio on South Michigan Ave. in Chicago in August 1966. "Open Up Your Mind" was about an LSD trip. The single was favorably reviewed in Cash Box magazine, and it got airplay locally but little elsewhere due mostly to Rembrandt's lack of national distribution. The band broke up in the spring of 1967 when Erickson left to join the The Lemon Drops, another local band also on the Rembrandt label.
