Об исполнителе:
South African keyboardist, bassist, composer, and performer. Born 25th April 1970 in the township Zola in Soweto, South Africa. Mduduzi's career began as a producer for bubblegum artists such Chicco, Pat Shange, and Yvonne Chaka Chaka along with producer Mandla "Spikiri" Mofokeng. In 1989, Mduduzi and Spikiri would join together as M-M Deluxe for the album "Where Were You?" under Cool Spot Productions. A year later, the collaboration followed with "Be Free My People". He would soon release his project "L.A. Beat" in 1990, which gained him notoriety in South Africa's house music scene. During the emergence of kwaito, Mduduzi coined himself the artist name "M'Du", short for his name, and gained the nickname "The Godfather Of Kwaito" for his early contributions in kwaito as relatively competing with top kwaito producer Arthur Mafokate. In later years, he would form his own label "M'Du Records" under Sony's South African subsidiary management and would produce and create brands, artists, as like for Mashamplani, Sharon Dee, Mawillies, Ma Kap-Kap, Chillies and more. M'Du pursued simultaneously his solo career and worked on several side projects, such for his LM Jam (Let M'Du Jam) kwaito jazz projects.
