Antonín Horák

Born in 1862 in Radvánovice (Semily district, Austrian Empire, now Czech Republic), died in June 1948 in Přáslavice near Sedmihorek (Semily district, village defunct, former Czechoslovakia). Court official, patriotic poet, legal columnist and translator of Russian and German fiction. His Svoboditelum (To the Liberators, 1918) republished panegyrics to the Czech Legion, Tomáš Masaryk and Woodrow Wilson in a celebration of the new Czechoslovakia.
