D. R. Ziggy

Vocalist, guitarist, and DJ. Brought up in NYC where he DJ'd in a few esoteric clubs around Brooklyn and Queens right through to Manhattan's Twilo. D.R. started travelling the world at the age of 15 and sampled his way around Brazil, Thailand and Mexico and most of Central America. He later compiled his own sound with 1,000 samples that he built up and fused into his club gigs around the world. Kenny Young spotted Ziggy at a 2am beach gig in Koh Samui and invited him to work on the 39vybes project. A few days turned into months, which turned into a couple of years. D.R. Ziggy became the second half of 39vybes.
