Nighthawk was formed in Inverness, IL. USA in 1996; a few years after Mark Madsen was in and recorded with Perdtion in the same basement studio. The idea was to create the ultimate psychedelic rock metal band combining 1950s-60s rock and modern Metal . The name was derived from Hawkwind. Members: Davis Carpenter on drums Mark Madsen on guitar Eric Olson on bass Mark is also the drummer for Perdition, one of the first sludge metal bands.
