She was a guitarist in Los Angeles a student of Larry Carlton, jazz guitar. She played as a studio guitarist and in various bands until forming Twist of Fate in 1982. She was the composer, vocalist and lead guitarist for Twist of Fate in Hollywood, California that continued playing shows with bands such as GWAR and Red Temple Spirits until it broke up in a contract dispute in 1991, while recording an album with John Pillay at Track Records. She studied vocals with Ron Anderson for five years as well, although admitted she never really was a singer. However she learned to play keyboards and bass as well. Other members of Twist of Fate were George Romero (from Black Flag), and later William Faith who later formed Faith and The Muse. The band also had Shaun Guerin (John Guerin's) son on keyboards at times, with additional members such as Pamela Romero, and Kirby Jones from Vampire Gardens, and including Cecelia +/- who put out the compilation album from Aztlan records with several songs on it long before there was such a thing as a CD. Many years later she became fond of electronic music and in 2006 formed Shotgun Genetics her current music project where she plays all the instruments and sings. She has no more live performances planned. She is related to the early Hollywood death rock scene that also included Christian Death, Screams for Tina, Ex-Voto, Pigmy Love Circus and others at that time.
