Nadezhda Averina

Russian Choral conductor. Nadezhda Averina is a professor at Moscow Conservatory, prize-winner of international competitions, and Honorary Worker of Arts of Moscow. A student of Alexander Ponomarev, she finished the Children’s Choir School Vesna. She has directed the Choir School Vesna and the Ponomarev Children’s Choir Vesna = Детская Хоровая Школа "Весна" since 2012. Under her guidance, the choir regularly performs at some of the best venues of Moscow and other cities of Russia, represents choral art abroad at the highest level (Hungary, Sweden, China, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Belgium), and wins the most prestigious Russian and international choral competitions. Nadezhda Averina has written tutorial articles and arrangements for children’s choir, and composed and compiled numerous choral collections. She regularly hosts seminars and master classes for choirmasters. She has been a judge of domestic and international choral competitions.
