Katarina Henryson

Swedish alto vocalist and composer, born March 30, 1964, educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Henryson was a member of the a cappella group The Real Group from 1984 to 2016. She has also appeared in other constellations, including with Roland Pöntinen and in duo format with cellist Svante Henryson. Her background and phrasing show influences of classical music as well as jazz and soul. Her debut as a lead singer took place in the Swedish pop / soul group Donna Lee in 1986.
