Об исполнителе:
Swedish musician (multi-instrumentalist) born in 1983 in Gothenburg. Band member in Wintergatan, and was previously part of the now defunct band Detektivbyrån. He grew up in Kronoparken in Karlstad but now lives in France. Molin studied music at Musikmakarna in Örnsköldsvik. In 2005, he and his brother Anders Molin were inspired to start Detektivbyrån, after hearing La valse d'Amelie by Yann Tiersen. They made their first gig at the Emmaboda Festival, shortly after the first EP Hemvägen, in front of a large audience. Notable gigs are at the P3 Gold Gala, Göteborgs spårvagnar and around the world and more. The group was dissolved in 2010. In 2011, he, Evelina Hägglund, Marcus Sjöberg and David Zandén created the band Wintergatan. The group went viral after Molin built a music machine played using metal balls, called the Marble Machine. After working with the machine for 14 months, he released a demonstration video in 2014 which in May 2020 has over 140 million views on Youtube. He then announced the start of a new machine, called Marble Machine X. Molin has since documented the construction process on the band's Youtube channel in so-called Wintergatan Wednesdays.
