Southbound (19)

Dutch experimental pop-rock band, centered around singer Roufaida and choreographer Andrea. They won the Grote Prijs van Rotterdam 2015 contest in the category Bands, and subsequently played live during the Bevrijdingsfestival on the 5th of May 2016. As far as I know, the band is no longer active under the Southbound name -- as of this moment, Roufaida is active as a solo artist instead. The only description I could find is on the Bevrijdingsfestival's facebook page (as translatied by me): "Southbound is the opening act for Sena Talent Stage on May 5, powered by Popunie. Southbound's music is enchanting, quirky and the singer is even called the 'Dutch Björk'. The singing skills of Roufaida and the choreographies of the dancer Andrea combine into an intense conversation on the stage!"
