Created by Simon Fuller (2) in 1998, the band released four studio albums, thirteen singles and two compilation albums as well as five television series, three television specials, and a feature film. In 2002, Paul Cattermole left the band to pursue a rock career, and the band rebranded S Club. Cattermole returned to the band during their 2015 and 2023 reunions, and the band continued to perform under S Club 7. On 6 April 2023, Paul passed away as a result of natural causes, and following his death Hannah Spearritt withdrew from the reunion. The band once again rebranded as S Club.
