Cactus (29)

CACTUS was born in 2010 from the meeting of talented disabled musicians in the context of adapted workshops at Le Pecq conservatory. Very quickly, in-depth work was set up, aimed at highlighting everyone's skills, through an original and festive repertoire. CACTUS musicians: Alexandre and Guillaume (keyboards) have Williams syndrome which gives them amazing musical qualities: perfect pitch, ability to improvise... Paul (percussion) has Down syndrome and has developed a rhythmic ease that allows him to adapt to musical contexts. Constance, Sophie and Amélie sing, dance and tap percussion, with enthusiasm and spontaneity! Romain (drums), Alexandre (saxophones, guitar, vocals) and Michael (bass, vocals), professional musicians, form the cement that allows the group to take off. CACTUS is regularly invited to play in mixed arts festivals or corporate awareness campaigns. The 1st CACTUS album, “It stings! », highlights the music and the musicians while keeping a part of freshness and unexpectedness related to the Disability.
