Lars Mertanen

Swedish guitar player Lars Johan Mertanen (b. 1959). In 1973 his family moved to Spain in Andalucia and in 1978 to Madrid. He started in music with Ella Y Los Neumáticos (1980, with Christina Rosenvinge and "Edi" Eduardo Clavo). In 1981 he formed "Claúsula Tenebrosa" with his brother Per Mertanen, later joined Carlos Entrena and they renamed the band as "Décima Víctima". After the band split-up in 1984 formed La Sala Del Silencio with his brother and Aurea Cuni then he returned to Sweden where he changed his artist name to Lars Krantz.
