Comedy trio from the late 1980s featuring Tony Hawks, (British actor, writer and comedian), Paul Boross (One half of The Calypso Twins with Ainsley Harriott, now known as The Pitch Doctor & Team Psychologist on Sky TV's School Of Hard Knocks) and Phil Judge (Successful actor on stage, TV and film who lives in Dublin) . Their Stutter Rap parody on the Beastie Boys No Sleep Til Brooklyn sold over 240,000 copies reaching number three in the UK charts in 1988 and number one in Australia for six weeks. It was produced by Jakko aka Grand Master Jelly Tot. Their follow-up This Is The Chorus, a play on the Stock Aitken and Waterman "hit-formula", was less successful in the UK but a hit in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The TV series Morris Minor's Marvelous Motors, written by and starring Hawks, in which the fictional bandleader tries to balance his pop career with managing his garage did not prove to be popular and ran for one series in 1989. Tony Hawks is now better known for his comedy show appearances (e.g. Just A Minute) and book writing (Round Ireland With A Fridge and Playing The Moldovans At Tennis). Paul Boross is now known for his TV appearances and as an inspirational speaker. He has written three books including the 'bible' of pitching called The Pitching Bible. Boross also presented the BBC 2 series on time management called Speed Up Slow Down. Philip Judge is a well-respected character actor. He played William Wakefield in Ripper Street and Conway in Foyle's War.
