Hanna Husáhr

Swedish opera singer (soprano), born November 3, 1983 in Borlänge. She studied at the Falun Conservatory of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Stockholm Opera Studio. She has a master's degree in opera from the University of Gothenburg and at the beginning of her career she was a trainee at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki. Since his debut in 2009 at the Folk Opera in the role of "Leila" in Bizet's Pearl Fishermen, Husáhr has played roles as "Pat Nixon" in John Adam's opera Nixon in China at the Royal Opera, "Romilda" in Xerxes at Versailles Royal Opera, "Barbarina" in Figaro's Wedding at Drottningholms Slottsteater (conductor Marc Minkowski) and "Helena" in Brittens En midsommarnattsdröm and "Zerlina" in Don Giovanni, both of the latter at the National Opera in Bergen. At Latvia's National Opera, as well as at Opera på Skäret, Husáhr has sung the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor
