Andy Sherriff and Simon Gotel were bio.com, a techno outfit based in North London active around 1996-2001. As the lead singer/songwriter with Chapterhouse (BMG) Andy sold 200,000 albums and toured the world three times . Simon was half of Well-Hung Parliament, with his brother Paul Gotel, who ran the dance music promoters Power Promotions. They were involved in remix projects including Two Lone Swordsmen’s Rico’s Helly, Alien Sex Fiend, Girl Eats Boy (Lol Hammond) on Hydrogen Dukebox. They released their own single, grid.lock, on Andy Weatherall’s Emissions label under the name of bionic They released their debut album Coming Up For Air on Deepstar Records, a sub label of Adelphoi on Monday 20th October 1997. The album was supported by a live tour (WOMAD festival) and video.
