Tommy LiPuma

US American A&R executive and music producer. He worked for Liberty/ Imperial (1961–1965), A&M Records (1965–1969), Blue Thumb Records (1968–1974), Warner Bros. Records (1974–1978, 1979–1990), A&M/Horizon (3) (1978–1979), Elektra (1990–1995) and GRP/Verve Records (1994–2011). He was a key figure in the career development of such artists as Michael Franks and Diana Krall. A highly influential producer, he inspired the careers of many younger producers like John Snyder, Arnaldo DeSouteiro and Larry Rosen. Born July 5, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
