French-Cape Verdean hip-hop collective founded in 1998 in São Vicente, Cape Verde Islands, the group is made up of four established French recording artists of Cape Verdean descent, who all share a passion and love for music and their shared heritage. Consisting of Stomy Bugsy, Jacky Brown (of Neg' Marrons), Izé, and J.P. (15), the first three were born and raised in France (Garges, Sarcelles or Paris). Izé was born in Cape Verde but emigrated to Paris, France at the age of 9. All four have successful music careers in France outside of this group effort.
