German melodic rock band formed 1989 in Sande, now disbanded. In 1989 the musicians Michael Peerwürfel (drums), Stefan Ellerhorst (guitar), Reent Fröhlich (vocals), Axel Ellerhorst (bass) and Christian Strover (guitar) played a 2 track demo, Melodic Rock Band CROSSROADS, newly founded in Sande near Wilhelmshaven Michael Peer Würfel and Reent Fröhlich were still familiar with FACT days. Over the EMI, the 3-track CD single "Borderline" was released in 1991. The same year CROSSROADS debut album "The Wild One" followed. The 12 songs are solidly played melodic rock hitters. The album is well received by fans, by the music press and is also successfully released in Japan. On June 24, 1992 the CROSSROADS album "Hype" will be released. Jens Becker (and others RUNNING WILD) was play the bass-parts as a guest musician. The 11 songs can convince on the whole line, even if they are not quite as high-quality as the debut disc. Without second guitarists, CROSSROADS play the album "Gasolined" in 1994, which will be released via Semaphore in the same year. The 14 songs are much weaker. The lack of the second guitar and weaker song material are negative, later CROSSROADS split up.
