"Beat me down and tell me I'm not good enoughI've always been the underdog, you're my inspiration" Thoes are the words Mitch Costanza had to live by when he began his career in 1993 at the age of sixteenwhen he formed his first band "ROSETTI." He always had the desire of being a front man but felt as if he didn't have the abillity until he found bands like rage,311,rollins, and fond his voice in the form of rap and poetry. "ROSETTI" went from playing at their suburban bay area high school to drawing crowds to the berkeley square where they shared the bill with such bands as salmon,far,and deftones. Costanza kept the band going by replacing those who left the band for college,ect..but eventually came to an end. He went to santa barbara city college, but found that his music required more devotion. After placing ads from seattle to san diego and auditioning with with hundreds of bands and musicians that went nowhere, he could no longer deal with the lack of creative control, flakes and druggies. He moved back to the bay area to form SNS by hireing his former rehab counslor Ian Miller (skankin pickle & Redemption 87) to record 92. He decided to be a solo artist but with the name SNS, much like trent reznor of nin. On one of the last days in the studio,his financial backing pulled out at the last minute. With the loving of his support of his girlfriend, he was able to close the deal with the cd. At this point along with the help of David Ell and Wesley van Coolwijk we have begun this website and started to create a fanbase. After shopping the cd to a few lawyers we have started to recieve mail from fans, friends, and people wanting to join our crew. SNS mission statement: is to play the crossover music that everyone loves. but unlike other bands that endorse negative vibes (rape, drugs, racism) SNS trys to play with a liberal message of equality.
