Joel Neville

Wife of Aaron Neville, she was credited for songwriting for her husband's song "Yellow Moon". She grew up in New Orleans and sang for a group called "Debettes". In 1959, in the age of 18, she became married to Aaron Neville. They had 4 children and shortly after the birth of the last son Jason, Joel left Aaron in 1972 due to his increasing drug consumption. A couple of years later, they found together again. Joel Neville died of lung cancer on January 5th, 2007.
