Dark Armageddon

Old school black metal band from Thuringia, Germany formed in 1994. In 1994, Desiderius (Lead guitar) and Paimoon (Vocals) form the band with the name „Perrian“. Shortly afterwards Morgana (drums) and Abysos (bass) was added. At first the music was very death metal, mixed with subtle keyboard effects. As the songs, come more and more into the black metal direction, it was decided to rename the band 1996 in Dark Armageddon. In Dezember 1997 the first demo "Maiorum Obscuritas" was recorded with Sharron as second guitarist. The demo was released in an edition of 50 copies. After conflicts between Morgana and Paimoon, Paimoon left the band. Sharron took over the vocals and he did the vocals on the debut album „“. It was also released in an edition of 50 copies. So that Sharoon was able to devote more of the guitar, 2000 Mastodon came as a new singer in the band. With him, 2001 the album "9 - Schadrack" was recorded and published in a CD pressing of 500 copies. This album was sold via the Nuclear Blast magazine, and some smaller distributors. In 2006 followed a split CD with Thy Majesty, which was published over Nocturnal Empire. Within the band there was already disagreements. The result was that Morgana had left the band. Without hesitation a new drummer was sought to play the last shows. The last show with the old line up was 2007 on the Nocturnal Empire Festival. In consequence, the band broke up and only founding member Desiderius remained. Shortly thereafter Helvete joins the band as bass player. They worked on new DA songs, as well as for the new side project “Höllensturm”. But it was difficult to find new band members and the time was marked by a constant ups and downs. 2010 was the release of the EP “7932714. In october of the same year Daimos joins the band as second guitarist. With "” in 2013 a full-length album was finally released after a very long time. The latest album “9824686” was published in 2016. After a long struggle to find the right drummer, Wanja Gröger "Nechtan" was brought on board in 2018. The new album “Novem Orbus Infernum” is nearing completion. It will be release in 2019.
