Graham Hill, OBE (born February 15, 1929 – died November 29, 1975) was a British racing driver and team owner from England, who was twice Formula One World Champion in 1962 (BRM) and 1968 (Lotus). He is the only driver ever to win the Triple Crown of Motorsport—the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix. He is the father of fellow Formula One World Champion, Damon Hill. Hill and five other members of the Embassy Hill team died in 1975 when the aeroplane he was piloting from France crashed in fog at night on Arkley golf course while attempting to land at Elstree Airfield in north London.
