Guitarist and songwriter Auburn Burrell, from Jacksonville, Florida, began his career with a local band called The Dalton Gang before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, where he replaced J.R. Cobb as the guitar player for the Classics IV from 1968 - 1970. He worked with Mylon LeFevre on several albums during the '70s, making his name as a session guitarist and moving to Los Angeles, where he continued session work as well as some studio engineering. He notably worked on [m7939]'s debut album, loaning his Gibson Les Paul to Tom Morello to play on the closing of "Bullet In The Head".
