Rail is an American band formed in 1992 in Orange County CA. Rail was initially a Shoegaze band with heavy synthesizer and effected guitars. Rail was heavily influenced by the Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain and Ride. Rail played many live shows in an around the Orange County and Los Angeles areas from 1992 to 1994. In 1994 Rail engaged professional management and were supposed to play South by Southwest and release a full length CD but broke up before they could progress any further.
