Mauama

Maurizio Amadio was born and raised in Italy. His musical journey started in 1976, when he was 15 years old. Radio producer by day and DJ by night, his career as a radio producer include radio shows and hosting with some of the most prestigious Italian networks. As a DJ, he has established himself as one of the top resident deejays of the Tuscan Riviera, with residencies and guest appearances in the hottest, trendiest dance spots of both the capital Rome and the famous Monte Argentario location. He joined the world of music production under the name of Mauama, when he released a track in collaboration with Orlando Johnson (“Bad Girls”, 2007) Since then he has written and produced various tracks, some of which have been selected for national advertising campaigns. His release “Touch Me” (Smilax, 2009) topped the DJTunes for 3 weeks In 2010, he received the “LA NAZIONE” Best Dee Jay Award. As a logical extension of his career and passion for music, he and his longtime friend and collaborator, DJ Gabrio Tosti, founded the music label VALMINUTA RECORDS in December 2013.
