BERG plays original music written by the Icelandic saxophonist Snæbjörn Snæbjörnsson. Based on the Icelandic melancholy and melody, the music is spiced with the varying harmonics and improvising essence of jazz. The musical universe evolves around the simple and understandable melody, which has proved to reach a wide range of audiences. BERG has played a number of successful concerts in Denmark and Iceland, including Harpa during the Reykjavik Jazz Festival, Good Music Festival, CPH Jazz Festival, Ribe Art Museum and more. BERG consists of saxophonist Snæbjörn Snæbjörnsson, pianist Mathias Ditlev, bassist Benjamin Kirketerp and drummer Chris Falkenberg.
