Gerold Amann

Gerold Amann was born on October 31, 1937 as the eighth child of a family of teachers and farmers in the mountain village of Schnifis / Vorarlberg. In addition to his job as a high school teacher at the BG and BRG Bludenz and temporarily as head of the composition class at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, he worked intensively on delayed reproduction of environmental noise (microstructures) and the music of early high cultures.
