Steve Piticco

Canadian guitarist, singer and songwriter born in Toronto, Ontario on July 6th, 1961. Started playing guitar at 11, moved to Ottawa Valley in the late 1970s and joined The Prescott Brothers Band. Co-founded South Mountain in 1989. Winner of the Canadian Country Music Association "Guitarist Of The Year" award in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993. Winner of the Dutch Country Music Association "International Instrumentalist Award" in 1993, 1994, 2001, 2002, and 2003. Inducted into the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
