Frenchie Washington

Born 1939. Wife of Geno Washington and sister in-law to Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits. .She met her future husband Geno in the Bag O’Nails club in London where her sister met Peter Noone She was the female voice on the comedy recording "Summer Fever" by Geno & Frenchie. It remained unreleased for decades until it appeared on the 1998 compilation, My Bombers My Dexy's My Highs - The Sixties Studio Sessions. She was also the female voice on Washington's single, "22481159" released on Kookooland Records KKGCD5008 in 2004. She had 54 years of marriage to Geno and passed away in 2018. She was played by actress Sophie Shad in the 2018 documentary short, Oh Geno!.
