JUDDY

Juddy is a multi-instrumentalist who grew up inspired by the immersive video game soundtracks scored by industry legends Nobuo Uematsu and Junichi Masuda before veering off into anything inspired by the spirit of The Beatles. Years of bedroom recording and punk gigs ensued as a singer-songwriter, guitarist and bassist for a multitude of projects before becoming enamoured with keyboards and synthesizers in early 2020. In late 2021, Juddy released I Am a New Tie Wearing, inspired by sonnyboy and his album Love Junkie, Tie Wearing was an exercise in electronica, a large leap from the power pop and punk origins. In early 2022, Juddy and sonnyboy formed The Chaddington Street Milk Collective and released Crescendo Ultima Morendo, combining their love of JRPGs and uniting their lo-fi chill vibes with pop sensibilities. They would go on to release a handful of singles and another album titled Lost Levels. Juddy would appear on the sonnyboy sequel album Love Junkie 2 released June 2022, featuring on the tracks Sweet Lavender, and Gone Again. Juddy released the EP Shadows of a Cityscape July 22nd, a retro-wave journey dripping with 80's nostalgia, featuring contributions from sonnyboy on the tracks Raving Mad and Rear View. Juddy's latest full-length album titled Repose, Respire was released in January 2023 and features the singles Into Great Unknowns, Crystal City and Rise and Shine.
