Mark Levy (2)

American drummer based in Montana, originally from New York. Levy began his musical career playing drums as a child and briefly worked as a roadie and sound engineer for a jazz band. After playing for several bands in New York, he left to study in Michigan but returned to New York to drum for the alternative rock band Stanley (8). After Stanley split, Levy took some work as a session drummer and played in the band Katy Mae but largely worked as a bartender and DJ. In 2010, Levy moved to Bozeman, Montana. While in Montana, he began to drum again, playing with the bands This Word Is Weapon and Abelina Valley before partnering with musician CJ Blessum in the post rock group Ranges.
