He appeared in local clubs (Birdland, Hickory House) and Carnegie Hall; did television shows (NBC-TV Bandstand with Art Mooney, The Ted Steele Show, and assorted Alvy West-led programs); made records with Sammy Kaye, Dorothy Collins, Ben Selvin, Jerry Jerome, Meyer Davis, Stan Applebaum, and Freddy Jacobs; and performed at various high society events.
