Saiko are a Chilean band formed in 1998, whose styles have ranged from synthpop to pop rock. They have achieved respectable popularity in the Chilean national scene largely due to charisma and voice of vocalist Denisse Malebrán, and the talents of Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas, both founders of Chile’s most successful band overseas, La Ley. After their most acclaimed and successful Las Horas (2004), Malebrán and Aboitiz withdrew from the band to pull their own solo projects (Denisse Malebrán and The Plugin, respectively). This did not mean a hiatus for Saiko, however. Volar (2007) would follow with now DJ Marcela Thais in the vocals. With constant re-alignments in the band members, January 2017 saw the self-release of their latest live production Sigo Quemando Infinitos.
