Guy Droussart (born Antwerp, Belgium, 1949) is a music lover and collector. He appears as photographer and liner notes writer. Guy spent part of his childhood in Africa and went to Australia in the late 1960's. There he was introduced to American folk music, country blues in particular. After returning back to Europe in 1971, he began collecting records in Zurich. He is noteworthy for his documentation on Bahamian artists, such as Joseph Spence, Tweedie Gibson and Japheth Dean. Guy Droussart also found 301 wood cuttings and 386 galvano's by Frans Masereel in the basement of Swiss publisher Europa Verlag (formerly Oprecht Verlag) in Zurich. These went to the Amsab-Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis in Ghent, Belgium.
