David Swartz

Guitarist, born on November 30, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas, Swartz grew up in Dallas, Texas and was the lead guitarist of rock and roll band The Nightcaps, which had regional hits with the songs ‘Wine, Wine, Wine” and “Thunderbird”. Outside of music, Swartz received his associate’s degree in nursing, served as a medic in the U.S. Navy and owned his own insurance company. He died in Salina, Oklahoma on February 7, 2014, age 73.
