John Sullivan OBE was a British comedy writer and singer who created and wrote many much-loved sitcoms including Only Fools and Horses (along with its two spin-offs: The Green Green Grass and Rock & Chips; he also sung the well-known theme tune), Just Good Friends, Dear John and Citizen Smith. He also wrote several sketches for The Two Ronnies. Born: 23rd December 1946 in Balham, South London, England. Died: 22nd April 2011 in Surrey, England at the age of 64 from viral pneumonia.
