Noel Fabricio Borges do Canto da Silva, better known as Noel Guarany, (December 26, 1941 – October 6, 1998) was a Brazilian musician. As a teenager he learned, in a self-taught way, the Guarani language, as well as how to compose, play and sing. In the 1960s, he toured several Latin American countries, where he learned several lessons, which he used as a subsidy for the creation of his songs in his future career.
