El Winner

Canadian of Algerian origin, Rabah Aït Ouyahia began his career as a rapper with the hip-hop group M-Pack with whom he produced a first album entitled Si y’a means. The album will be warmly received by Montreal critics. Subsequently, under the name El Winner, he formed the group Latitude Nord and released the album Dis-leur in April 2001, under Universal Music's Mercury Canada label. The group will be nominated at the ADISQ Gala in the Album of the Year – hip-hop category. In 2001, he played his first role in the cinema in the film L'Ange de goudron, directed by Denis Chouinard and obtained a nomination at the La Soirée des Jutra gala in 2001 in the Best Supporting Role category. In 2014, director Bachir Bensaddek offered him the role of Mokrane in the feature film Montréal la blanche, which brought him back to local cinema. On television, he obtained the role of Bruno in the television series L'imposteur alongside Marc-André Grondin. We also saw him in District 31, Victor Lessard and Mr. Roach.
