King Bird

The debut of the King Bird took place in 2003, with the EP "The Gods' Train", that obtained recognition by important vehicles like Rock Brigade, Roadie Crew and Whiplash !, among others. Two years later came the debut album, "Jaywalker" (Die Hard Records), bringing compositions that ran from Hard Rock to Southern Rock, such as "Down The Crossroads", "Old Jack" and "Mother Nature." The material counted on special participation of Marcelo Schevano (Bomba Car), Heros Trench (Korzus) and the late Hélcio Aguirra (Coup de Estado). In that year, King Bird was considered by the specialized media as one of the great revelations of Brazilian Rock. The band participated in important events during the "Jaywalker" publicity tour, such as "Brazil Rock In Concert 2006", where he played with Uriah Heep, in CanecãoRJ; The Festival of the program Stage Diving, in Presidente Prudente (SP), along with Cholera, Scars and Exxótica; The "Jaguariúna Rock Festival" with Torture Squad and Shadowside; As well as concerts next to Coup de Estado, Tomada, Baranga and Carro Bomba. With the good reputation gained on the stage, in 2008 left the second album, "Sunshine". He was the most influential guitarist in the history of the band. He was a heavyweight and dense. He recorded tracks such as "Getting Over My Faith", "Here Comes The Zeppelin", "Cross The Muddy River" and "Let The Rock Roll" and featured guest appearances by Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Maurício Nogueira Matanza), Silvio Golfetti and Heros Trench (Korzus). During the "Follow the Sun" tour, the group performed in the traditional "Roça'n'Roll" (VarginhaMG), as well as concerts and festivals such as "Brazilian Rock Festival" (Três Pontas MG), "Rockland" (MatãoSP), Ibira Moto Point (São PauloSP), IV City of São Paulo GP (Interlagos São PauloSP) and Kiss Club program (Kiss FM radio), among others. Besides these, it was opening band for presentations of legends like Graham Bonnet (Alcatrazz, Rainbow) and Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple). Aside from the performances, the group did not stop composing and in 2012 it was the turn of the four-track EP "Beyond The Rainbow", which was composed in honor of Ronnie James Dio (ELF, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven & Hell), who died in May 2010. The song, which came out as a music video, reaffirmed the influence of Dio, one of the world's greatest Rock / Metal vocalists, in the sound of King Bird. Renewed and more versatile, the band released the album GOT NEWZ in June / 2016 and continues to perform around the country.
