Kenneth Skeaping

British viola da gamba and violin player, professor at the Royal Academy of Music, and a specialist in baroque music, one of the early people to promote the ideas of authenticity in performance of baroque music during the 1950s. Born in 1897 - Died in 1977. Former member of the London Symphony Orchestra (1923-1936). His sons Roderick Skeaping and Adam Skeaping also became musicians.
