Violist and music teacher from Bad Homburg, Germany. Wife of the violinist Ralf Hübner. Born in Kiev/Ukraine, after seven years of musical training at the local Glinka Music School, she came to Frankfurt am Main in 1993 as a violin child. At the age of 15 she was a young student with Prof. Alfred Breith at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt, where she continued her studies after graduating from high school. She switched to the viola after her studies. Since 2000 Olga has been a member of the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, a crossover orchestra. In 2005 she became a member of Chamber - L'Orchestre de Chambre Noir, a gothic band with neoclassical influences. She also plays with TreSoli, La Finesse, Four 4 Strings, Eschbach Trio, Asteri Quartett, Quartett Bohème and many more. As a studio musician, she can be heard on recordings by artists of various genres: Dick Brave (rockabilly), Get Well Soon (alternative), Shantel (Balkan pop), Rilke project (poems set to music), Der W, Veritas Maximus (hardrock), etc. Olga stood with Nena, Kygo, Deine Lakaien, Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, David Garrett, Alex Christensen, Gregory Porter, Ian Anderson, José Carreras, and many more on stage.
